IEEE's annual Student Professional Awareness Conference, which is aimed at providing students with an insight on the industries related to their studies, as well as projects being performed by respective companies has arrived! The conference takes form in a sequence of talks subsequently followed by a 90 minute poster session where students have the possibility to inquire personally to company representatives about any issues or request relevant information. The popularity of this event with the student body is quite established with well over 200 students attending the conference last year and so this year's SPAC will be held at the Lecture Theatre 2 (LT2). FREE ENTRANCE FREE SNACKS FREE PRIZE.

A very informative and interesting conference. I especially liked Ing. Charles Cuschieri talk with resolve and vigor about the mettle it takes to become an entrepreneur, I think however he missed a crucial part: that is being able to connect with others i.e. communication skills, though he did list elements of such further down his list.

Unfortunately I couldn't stay through all of the conference, but I think I got the jist of it.
