A new IEEE Student Branch committee has been formed to build upon the work of the previous one, and to further promote IEEE towards students.
The following are the new committee members:
Chairman: Dylan Seychell
Vice Chairperson: Minette Vella
Secretary: Luana Chetcuti
Human Resources: Jean-Marie Vella
Vice Secretary: Gianluca Valentino
External Relations: Lawrence Chetcuti
Marketing Officer: Diane Cassar
The new committee is eager to keep up the enthusiasm of the previous committee, as well as the positive name and reputation the IEEE student branch has made for itself by introducing a number of novelties that are aimed at facilitating the connection between IEEE and the students.
These include the upcoming ROBOT WARS – The Revenge and the Friday the 13th Party at the KSU Common Room.
We would like to remind you that the renovated IEEE website offers the following services:
• The possibility of online payment for the activities organized by IEEE via PayPal
• The setup of unsupervised forums for each academic year, where students can
share vital information related to their studies
• Photo album of all the IEEE activities
Our Facebook page (IEEE Malta Student Branch) is constantly updated with the latest information regarding events and photo albums.
We warmly suggest you to visit both. In the coming weeks we will be informing you of more IEEE activities, as well as information about the first industrial visit of the year as is tradition.

Exams are finally over and it's time to celebrate! This year IEEE and UESA are organising a bigger and better Summer BBQ on Tuesday 7th July.
